You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws.

Scanonix provides online and mobile tools for document conversion, image processing, OCR, QR scanning, and related workflows.

Many web tools process files locally in your browser. Other features may rely on server-side processing, accounts, sync, or premium capabilities as described for each product.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.

You are responsible for your use of the Service, for maintaining appropriate backups of your files, and for verifying the accuracy and suitability of outputs before relying on them.

You must provide accurate account and billing information where required and keep your credentials secure.

You agree to use the Service in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

You may not use the Service to:

• Upload, process, or distribute unlawful, infringing, harmful, or malicious content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as permitted by law.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Use the Service in a manner that interferes with other users or compromises security.

You retain ownership of files and content you submit through the Service, subject to any rights granted below.

You grant Scanonix a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display uploaded content only as necessary to operate the Service, provide support, and comply with law.

For tools that process files locally in your browser, Scanonix does not claim ownership of file contents processed entirely on your device.

The Service, including its software, branding, design, documentation, and underlying technology, is owned by Scanonix or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license or ownership interest is transferred to you.

Scanonix may offer free and paid tiers. Feature availability, usage limits, and export options may differ between plans.

Premium features may include higher resolution exports, advanced AI tools, team workspaces, or other capabilities described at purchase.

We may change plan features or pricing prospectively. Existing subscribers will be notified where required by law or contract.

Paid plans, where offered, may renew automatically until cancelled according to the billing terms presented at checkout.

Prices, taxes, and payment methods are shown before purchase. You authorise us and our payment processors to charge applicable fees.

Specific billing terms for mobile app purchases may be governed by the relevant app store provider.

Refund eligibility depends on the plan purchased, the platform used, and applicable consumer protection laws.

Unless otherwise stated at purchase or required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun.

Refund details are subject to final legal and commercial review and may be updated in product-specific terms.

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Maintenance, updates, browser compatibility issues, network failures, or third-party outages may affect availability.

Outputs generated by automated tools may contain errors, omissions, or formatting issues. You are responsible for reviewing results before use.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Scanonix disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are prohibited.

We do not warrant that outputs from OCR, conversion, compression, or AI features will be complete, accurate, or suitable for legal, medical, financial, or other professional purposes without human review.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scanonix and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of the Service.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Scanonix in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars (USD $100), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also request account closure where account features are available.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, or where required by law.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.
